Good Friday, also called Holy Friday, Great Friday or Black Friday, is the Friday preceding Easter Sunday ("Pascha"). This religious holiday commemorates the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Golgotha, an event central to Christian theology and mythology.
